I’ve been lucky enough to work with great people at incredible organisations on some really exciting projects. Here are just a few examples:

Prostate Cancer UK

Enhancing Innovation Capability for the Fundraising team at Prostate Cancer UK

I ran an Insight for Innovation Training Workshop with the Community & Events team at Prostate Cancer UK to increase their innovation capability and instil a culture of insight-led innovation. The workshop included: understanding what insight is (and how it’s different from data), an introduction to theory with examples of failures and successes from within and out of the sector and hands-on exercises. You can get a behind the scenes look at the workshop and what the team thought of it in this video.

Macmillan Cancer Support

Insight-led approach to innovating Legacy Fundraising

I worked with the Legacy Promotions team at Macmillan advising on their legacy innovation programme and pipeline.

I developed customer insight through interviewing 12 x customers, synthesising the research and presenting the output to the team which included VoxPops of key moments from the interviews.

From these interviews, I captured 5 x Opportunity Springboards which informed an Opportunity Framing & Ideation Workshop where we defined the opportunities, prioritised them and developed ideas for one of the Opportunity Springboards.

After the workshop, Kathryn Cheshire, Head of Legacy Promotions at Macmillan said:

“Thanks for being a great facilitator – we can have a lot of (sometimes conflicting) opinions and it’s thanks to you that we didn’t get stuck into multiple debates and not move ourselves forward!”

Doberman Coffee Co

Purpose-Led Venturing

I’m passionate about businesses being a power for good. I have experience of this having developed and created and sold a purpose-led e-commerce website.

I did this by taking a lean-thinking approach & partnered with dog charities to donate a portion of profits to and targeted dog-loving coffee drinkers on Instagram. I sold the website in 2022 for a 4-figure value.

You can read more about how I went about this in my newsletter here.
